Driveclub, Evolution Studios' racing title for PlayStation 4, will be "one of the biggest titles for Sony from a DLC perspective," according to the latest issue of Game Informer magazine by way of Gaming Everything.
The site's summary includes several other details from the magazine preview. Driveclub will reportedly have its own season of weekly online races, include three-on-three team challenges and is not a simulation-based racer.
While online multiplayer will play a large role, a single-player offline option is reportedly also available. Players will also be able to create events based on factors such as weather, time of day and car type.
Evolution Studios announced Driveclub during Sony's PlayStation 4 unveiling. During a roundtable interview with Polygon, director Matt Southern said that the game was a result of the team's "unfettered, uncompromised vision" for a racing title. A release date has not yet been announced.
